Many families and friends have attended our Graduation/Promotion Ceremonies in the past. We are fortunate to have such a supportive community. We provide entrance tickets to help maintain the best environment for all participants. Each student receives 6 tickets for entrance to the promotion ceremony. To arrange for special seating needs, please contact Linda Flaherty at 847-566-9384, ext.1296, or via email at lflaherty@fsd79.org. The deadline for special seating is Friday, May 15, 2026.
For the Graduation/Promotion Ceremony, all students will be wearing gowns. Please note that it is important for students to wear dress clothes for the Graduation/Promotion Ceremony. Students must follow the district dress code.
When a student enters public school, a file is made that holds items such as report cards and standardized test results. This file transfers to any school the student attends. Per school code, Fremont retains copies of the file for a certain period of time. Copies of your child’s permanent file will be destroyed in 2086.
8th Grade Graduation Dance: The 8th-grade dance will be on Wednesday, May 27, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Fremont Middle School in the large gym and cafeteria.
Only Fremont Middle School 8th-grade students are allowed to attend the dance, and they must follow the dress code.
- There is no cost to the students! All food is free of charge.
- Thank you to the PTO Dance Committee for planning a great night to celebrate the FMS 8th-grade class of 2026.
- Drop-off and pick-up for the dance will be at the side entrance of the middle school's large gym.
- Enter the middle school at the south entrance (next to the district office) and pull around to the side of the building.
- There will be two rows of cars, and the cars will merge into one row. At the merge, cars will turn right and enter the parking lot, and drop off students at the side door by the large gym.
- Exit using the north exit by the stoplight. To assist with traffic flow and safety for the evening, this will be a right-turn-only exit onto Fremont Center Road heading North.
- Please be patient with the drop-off and pick-up of the students to ensure safety.
